Actively pursuing a career in tourism and boating since 2009, I have worked for various tourism operators in New Zealand's Bay of Islands, including: The Rock overnight adventure cruises, Gungha sailing charters, Spot X game fishing trips and Night Rider kayak eco-cruises. My work reached climactic heights as I took on a crew position for a yacht delivery to the French Polynesian islands. This was soon followed by me serving as Skipper on a different yacht heading back to New Zealand. These experiences have sparked my love for work (and life) on boats and it is now greater than ever before, which is why I am enrolling in a RYA Yachtmaster Ocean course in the near future and am hoping continue working in marine tourism during my stay in Australia.
